The Murphy Young Foundation was formed so that the Murphy Young Group and its staff could do something to directly help and support individuals and groups within the geographical work areas of the Group.

Giving and helping others, especially those with special needs or requirements, is rewarding for everyone involved; the donors, the fund raisers and the beneficiaries. The MY Foundation was incorporated with a structure to ensure donors cash goes directly and completely to deserving recipients. The process of selection of beneficiaries and monitoring the application of funds is thorough. Staff play a critical role in the process, facilitating fund raising and nominating needy causes.

The Murphy Young Foundation has charitable status under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
