A Christmas food donation initiative is bringing businesses together to support local communities, with Arca Business Centre, Cumbernauld providing workspace accommodation as a central collection point for donations made by occupiers across the Murphy Young Portfolio.
Throughout the festive period, occupiers at various locations have been invited to donate essential food items. These donations are being consolidated at Arca Business Centre.
In the lead-up to Christmas, all donated items will be delivered to foodbanks local to each participating property, ensuring that support is directed back into the communities where the donations originated. The initiative responds to increased seasonal demand on foodbank services and aims to provide practical assistance to individuals and families facing hardship.
The project demonstrates how commercial workspace can be used to support meaningful charitable activity, fostering collaboration between businesses and the communities they serve. By offering a dedicated collection hub, Arca Business Centre plays a key role in enabling occupiers to take part easily and make a tangible difference.
Murphy Young Foundation would like to thank all occupiers across the Murphy Young Portfolio who have supported the appeal. Their contributions will help ensure that local foodbanks are able to provide vital support to those most in need during the festive season.
